In the world of crochet, if you want to start you must begin with the basic stitches, it is an easy craft to learn. Learning a few basic stitches is already possible to start your own project, at first it can be a little confusing and complicated, but with time you start to make your first crochet chains and the ideal to start with the very low stitch to start in easy projects.

The basic chain stitch is stitch better known as “Ch” and usually everyone starts with it in their first projects with a chain stitch with a grouping, usually called the starting stitch, foundation chain or base.

This stitch is often used in fillet, V-stitch, granny square, and many other craft patterns. This stitch helps to improve the appearance of projects, giving them a more perfect finish.

The Acute or Tripo Crochet Stitch whose abbreviation is “tr” is the most double crochet stitch and is used in the same step as the basic stitch. One of the nice things about this stitch is that it allows you to quickly add height to a project and create looser pieces.

After learning these basic crochet stitches and practicing a lot, you will be better prepared to start your projects more easily and quickly. With a basic understanding of these stitches, you can combine stitches to create new patterns. This way you gain more experience and soon begin to start your patterns with more confidence.

These patterns were a learning experience when I started crocheting, at first I practiced every day different stitches, creating several stitch patterns. I would make the patterns and undo them until they were perfect, thus I was improving my techniques and perfecting them. As any other learning, in the beginning it is more difficult but with time and dedication you will be able to reach your goals.
